project I
For the first project, we were assigned into groups and directed to perform a precedence study analysis. We were given buildings from around the country and abroad to analyse thoroughly. Ours was the Aurapin House in Bangkok, Thailand. The architect who designed it was Boonlert Hemvijitraphan. We looked at spatial configurations, circulation to path-space relationship and so on. The outcome teaches us to understand more about architectural planning of the exterior and interior spaces.
project II
For the second project, we were divided into groups of 4. We were given a design brief based on a competition to build a gazebo within the brand new Taman Tugu Negara. Our design had to be centered around a forest context and remain as eco friendly as possible as per the competition brief. There were two designs to be submitted, one in an active zone and the other in a passive zone. Myself, was working on the active zone gazebo design based our concept around rainforest layers.

project III
For the third project, we were asked to design a weekend lodging to be located within KL Forest Eco Park. This design has to inform the contextual surroundings within the forest and fulfills the criteria of a client. My design is revolved around reconciliation between a father and a son who wants to reconnect within a comfortable place from their past. My building allows them to reconcile with each other and with nature as well.
