Project 1
The first assignment was a group work, identifying contact points on our given street, Hang Dao in Hanoi, Vietnam. The 5 contact points identified on Hang Dao are then put side by side together with 5 contact points established on our studio site, on Jalan Stesen 1, Klang.
Synopsis Essay Writing
This assignment is an individual assignment, where we were tasked with writing three synopses about the readers that were given to us. The readers discuss the theories of architecture and urbanism.
Project 2
The second project is an individual assignment, where we were tasked with writing a critical comparative analysis essay, discussing the two streets from Project 1, Hang Dao street and Jalan Stesen 1.
Reflection
This module has brought new aspects and perspectives of architecture that I have overlooked before. The study on urban theories is very interesting, coupled with understanding human behavior and how architecture impacts that. I wish to learn more about the theories that revolve around architecture.
