PROJECT 1
The first project, we were split into groups of three and tasked with designing a playscape for children between the range of 7-12 years old. It was part of the kid's education by "learn thru play" enabling the kids to build up in their social skills and life skills before the teenage years.
A collage exercise to create spaces indoors generated through existing images.
PROJECT 2
In the second project, we were tasked with designing a single parents community centre on a site opposite the DR Seenivasagam Recreational Park, across the Kinta river. Project 2 was divided up into three sections, A,B and C.
The first part was the group site analysis done after a brief site visit to Ipoh, Perak. During the three day visit, we were tasked with recording down observations and obtaining data that might be useful in informing our design.
The second part of the project was the interim presentation. It is the midpoint for the submission, where the concepts and ideas for designs are presented.
Lastly, it was the final presentation, where all the ideas, analysis, design so far all culminate into one final design for the Single Parent Families Community Centre.
